Flamengo beat Resende by 4 to 1 at Maracanã, this Friday, in a game valid for the fourth round of the Guanabara Cup. The red-black team dominated the match from start to finish. The goals were all scored in the second half. Vitinho opened the scoring with a beautiful shot from outside the area, Pedro enlarged minutes later taking advantage of offensive pressure. Paulo Victor cashed for Resende after a corner kick. Rodrigo Muniz closed the scoreboard with two goals, one of them hitting a difficult first shot after crossing Matheuzinho.
