With a great goal from outside the area scored by the lateral Igor Julião, Fluminense won by 1 to 0 and overthrew rival Flamengo of the leadership of the Guanabara Cup. Now, the first isolated place is Volta Redonda. The result gave Tricolor a survival, since the team came from two consecutive defeats in this beginning of Campeonato Carioca. Rubro-Negro, on the other hand, lost its invincibility. In the next round, Flamengo will face Resende, in Maracanã, on Friday (19), and Fluminense will visit Bangu, in Moça Bonita, on Saturday (20).
